RC Booster test

I have been thinking of how a boosted signal from my guitar will affect the tone lately. So I did a quick test with my new Squier Telecaster and my trusty Xotic RC Booster. Otherwise, there are no other affects, than my Blues Jr cranked with my new Weber Mini Mass. The Settings are:

Left Channel (Starts with a muted strum):
RC Booster on. Volume at 15 o'clock, no gain, eq flat.
Blues Junior: Volume: 3+, Master 11.

Right Channel:
RC Booster off.
Blues Junior: Volume: 4, Master 11.

As you can hear the difference is not that noticeable. For the boosted channel (left), I lowered the volume (gain) on the Blues Jr, so the recorded volume level matched the non-boosted level. I was suprised how little difference there where between the channels. The boosted channel is a little more bassy and less trebly I think. That could be generated by the lower volume (gain) on the blues jr.

I didn't want to use the gain on the rc booster, because I just wanted to see the effect of a volume change. I hope you enjoy it.
